Classic Fantasy War game SOBH playthrough as a test so dice heavy

Something different for me here, fancied trying to play out a skirmish war-game using the Songs of blades and heroes rules system.
Was fun but may not be as fun to read back compared to the more narrative stories I usually prefer to write.

So I am a misguided Hero armoured in Chainmail and armed with a crossbow and lets say a large hunting knife.
I am also skilled at Running and Hunting, did my prophecy skill lead me to the need to kill the king?

The rabble are hired thugs rated Q4+ and C1, with specials Rabble, I don't expect much from them.
The other member of by band is
Lunatic.
Obnoxious duelist who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to progress wealth, learn the world, and obtain the wealthy; who speaks of hostile records and is focused on your skills.
A mad duellist I ran into in a tavern, looking for wealth and excitement he agreed to come with me, I believe he hopes to fight me one day.
His Q is

opposing us at the lake are?
Honest female mercenary.
Introverted assassin.

Turn one I attempt three activations with the duellist

Next up is me,

The first rabble

Double failure, he moves once and then my turn is over, the final chap gets no actions.
Turn one for the King, he orders his mercenary forward, all start within his leadership radius for the bonus.

Next up is the assassin, hugging the edge of some woods

Lets try for three activations again

3 activations! using one to close with the Mercenary he launches a powerful attack,

Against a defence of

More than tripled a gruesome kill as the duellist impales the Mercenary through the eye and out the back of their head in a spray of blood.
Does the assassin scare?

How about the soldier?

The Soldier only moves back once in a measured move but also ends up back by the King.

I move up twice, and then level my crossbow at the assassin who has left the edge of cover negating their stealth ability.

Only beaten by one, the assassin recoils back one base as he ducks the bolt.
The back rabble attempts to move up

Moving once the second rabble

Turn two enemy, assassin first up

The duellist wins knocking the assassin from his feet,
The soldier next

A draw both stay in combat.
The King now gets to go

Only one action, he moves up towards us, keeping his survivors in range.
Turn three
The duellist first off again

The Assassin first up

Standing up he moves in to contact with the rabble in support of the soldier
Soldier next hoping to finish off the first thug

two actions, one to rush in on the Assassin and one to attack

tripled he guts the assassin from behind with such savagery the soldier has to take another morale check

As they attempt to run back to the king one movement, the thug they were fighting lashes out

a draw means they successfully run backwards.

Beats him causing him to trip over the assassins corpse
The solider next

uses one action to rush in against the fallen duellist and deliver a blow

She stabs him through the torso he is out of this fight.

I go first

again you have to be kidding me! even computer dice have my luck ;-)

The King

Moves against the rabble nearest and strikes out

The thug collapses dead.
He then moves towards the final thug leaving me to last perhaps
his soldier..

uses her three actions to engage me with a powerful attack

pushing me back slightly as I dodge her wide sweeping blow.
My turn 6, better be me this time!

Speechless... I use my only action to shoot her with my crossbow

Takes her through the chest and she crumples to the floor dead.
Turn 6 enemy
The king on his own now

Uses his first action to engage the thug
7 = 4[d6]+3
6 = 4[d6]+2
Killing him, he then turns and moves towards me but runs out just ahead.
My Turn 7 - the final duel
6 = 6[d6]

I move in and attack with my two actions
7 = 4[d6]+2+1
4 = 1[d6]+3
I beat him back but his armour keeps him on his feet.
3 = 3[d6]

He has three actions against me, first up a powerful attack
5 = 2[d6]+3
2 = 1[d6]+2-1
And the King is victorious his sword smashes my hunting knife from my hand and the reverse cut causes a major injury to me, leaving me dying on the floor he leaves to find his horse, know doubt he has worse in store for me if not a sudden ending, can I crawl away into the woods whilst he is away?
(Unlikely | 1[d10]) No, and...
I have bled to death by the time he returns with more guards. Such a poor end for our misguided hero whose belief in his own prophecy led directly to his death.
