Anachronistic First ever RPG of any kind!
#1
Ok, so I've never, ever been able to do any RPG's.  Sad  So, here's my first attempt. I see areas I wanna do different in the next, but this was fun!
----------------

She stopped, listening for the sound again. When she heard it this time, it was deeper, closer than it should be. She knew the danger, but she had to keep watch.

The things she had seen...

Trench coat.

Plasma torch.

Superb anti-gravity generator.

Can she use the plasma torch?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

the torch protected them from things that she couldn't bear to picture. They were

Giant vermin.

These vermin lived off plasma, and the torch destroyed them instantly.

Anti-gravity counteracted the venom if you were one of the fortunate ones who survived their attack.

She was lucky. She had been a tracker most her life. She was resistant to them.

Has she ever been attacked?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No. +Twist: Item / Ends the scene

She had  the ability to hear up to five miles away. She was also born with plasma that was also toxic... To everything, and everyone.
She wrapped the trench coat tighter and closed her eyes.

End scene

Rift.

Department store.

The grounds began to shake. Rifts started to appear everywhere. She could see the major department store suddenly swallowed as it crashed down the rift.
Was her homeland under attack from whatever she heard the night before?

(Somewhat Likely | 5[d10]) Yes, but...

She had the skills to save them.

Blind-fighting.

Mechanic.

Bureaucracy.

Listening to the wind, she heard where some of the attackers were.
Rather than deal with all the officials, she knew she could manage and control them.

She ran to an empty home, looking for any weapons. She found

Bio-scanner.

Below average toolbox.

Power cell.

She could work with these, given her mechanical skills.

As she packed up, two strange beings walked up to her. She was caught off guard given her hearing ability. They grabbed her arms.

Did they have any weapons?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

Did they attempt to use them?

(50/50 | 5[d10]) No, but...

They made sure she could see they were armed with

Tools.

They took her to their general, who took great interest in her. She noticed that he looked very similar to her. Even more so than her own people.
Could she, in some way, be associated with this man?

(Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

"Who are you?" She asked. "And what do you want?"

He slowly rose, walked to her, and made a small cut in both of their skin. His blood... It was the same as hers!  How was that possible?
She had never seen anyone like her. He then spread some of his blood on her skin. She tried to fight away as he did so, fearing what might happen.

The blood radiated in light; immediately, her skin healed over.

"You were taken from us when you were a baby. Your blood was the one thing they needed to protect them from the vermin.
We've been searching for you for many years, and have finally found you."

"Many babies were taken, but only you had the purest blood. The blood of your people, from the beginning of time." He said.

She didn't quite know what to do. She was torn between the place she grew up, and the place she belonged.

Her father began to speak but land started crumbling around them. "Hurry!" He screamed, reaching for her hand.
Cautiously she gave it to him and he swooped her into the air. She could barely make out a spacecraft in which they landed on.

"What is happening?" She shouted over the noise, although she had no need, as his hearing was the same as hers.

"Once you are safe, the land must be destroyed. To kill the vermin and eradicate the evil spirits." He replied

"Will anyone survive? Those who aren't evil?"

(50/50 | 9[d10]) Yes.

"Will there still be vermin?" She then asked.

(50/50 | 9[d10]) Yes.

"But they will have skills and tools to defend themselves. They will be safe."

What tools and skills?

Hyper-hearing.

Marksmanship.

Etiquette.

Sunglasses.

Last will and testament.

Environmental suit.

Relieved, she left the land. She returned to her actual land of origin.

Was she happy?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

She saved many lives upon her return. Her blood was shared with the sick. All it took was one drop, and they were better. Not perfect, but healthy.

She never knew how much she was needed. And even though she missed her old friends and 'family', she was glad to be home.
