Genres

You must have a forum account and be logged in to use the genre feature.

A genre may be selected by clicking the gear icon in the upper left hand corner. There you will see "Select Genre".

The selection in the "Select Genre" drop-down box affects the kinds of words displayed when clicking the buttons in the "Genre" section located at the bottom of the Play screen.

This allows you to focus on a certain genre without the possibility of anachronistic words displaying. For example, if your setting is Medieval Fantasy and you select NPC, you wont get an astronaut. The "Anachronistic" option will pull from random genres and therefore displays anachronistic results.

Currently there are four genres.

-- Medieval Fantasy
-- Science Fiction
-- Superheroes
-- Zombie Apocalypse

Question
There are more genres now:
Anachronistic
Classic Fantasy
Science Fiction
Zombie Apocalypse
Superheroes
Modern Action / Suspense
SW Clone Wars - Indoors
SW Clone Wars - Outdoors
SW Clone Wars - Space

What is SW Clone Wars?
I'm assuming Suspense can be used for more general types of Horror besides for Zombie Fiction?
Is "Classic Fantasy" = "Medieval Fantasy"?

Hi,

Thanks for updating the list.

- SW Clone Wars is android focused science fiction.
- Yes, it sure can but don't click Opposition if you don't want zombies.
- Yes, for medieval, Tolkien and D&D style of play.
