Ok. Last time, I did something for RPG Solo was a "Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2"-based science fiction series. This time I'm going with classic fantasy: knights, wizards, towers, dragons, etc

Ok. Now I need to do the dials for Cassie's cartoon fantasy series. They are the following: Serious (How silly or serious is the series), Realism (how much realism is in the series), Violence (how much or little of violence is in the series) & Continuity (how slim or heavy continuity is in the series).

The start is the following the dails and the meaning of their numbers:
  • Serious: 1 = The series is somewhat lighthearted with lots of levity, but the focus is still mostly on action and adventure. The comedic elements are just a bit stronger than in
    other series.
  • Realism: 2 = The series takes place in a reality that more or less resembles our own, albeit with some unrealistic elements (especially in terms liberties taken with the laws of physics). This is the default level for the retro-toons.
  • Violence: 2 = The series allows for some physical violence (punches and kicks can actually hit!), but weapons – especially bladed weapons or guns – only succeed indirectly against
    organic foes. Death only happens as poignant, non-violent sequences (like Jaga’s death in ThunderCats) and even then, it’s truly rare.

  • Continuity: 1 = The series is entirely episodic. Episodes never reference events that came before, making it very easy for the GM to write plotlines. After all, she needn’t concern
    herself with maintaining any sense of continuity

Has Fairy reach the ruins by now?

Another earthquake happen and break a magic bell at the ruins freeing a evil fairy.

I'm assuming the evil fairy is named Eris. Her appearance to white hair and blue eye female fairy dressed in a long purple dress. Her "Singularity Quality" is "Evil Female Fairy". Standard Qualities are, "Lives to cause trouble" & "Vow: Find the one that impression her year ago." Star Power is 4. Threshold is 8. All traits are at 7 with the exception of Smartness which is 3.

Eris goes for a dodge.

Eris is able to do so. She attacks her own staff.

MATH FIX: 7 + 12 = 19 + 8 = 27

Eris tries to dodge it with Flight.....

7 = 4[d12]+3

27 - 7 = 20. 20 > 6 = Instra Defeat. I'm send 2 of Faye's Oomph point for a "Not So Fast". The staff of Eris sends the flying Cassie right into column. Cassie is mad enough to throw her own staff at Eris.

13 = 9[d12]+4

Eris is going to dodge with her own flight....

14 = 7[d12]+7

Eris barely dodge the Cassie's staff....

Now Eris is going to hit Cassie with her own body. That's a FLIGHT check....

9 = 2[d12]+7

Now Cassie is going to use Agility to try to dodge to Eris's attack.....

16 = 6+10[d12]

Cassie is successfully. Cassie is going to punch Eris. This isn't a trait on the the stats sheet I did early. It's called a "Zero Trait".

2 = 2[d12]

Eris is going to headbutt Cassie.

10 = 10[d12]

10 - 2 = 8. 8 > 6. Cassie is Instra-Defeat on this turn. Eris's headbutt sends Cassie clashing right into a still-standing wall of the ruin.

Next up is Lady Annabelle's stats. First off I can totally forgo asking for at two out the three Qualities. I get back to her Qualities later, while I work on her appearance:

She has bright neon-green eyes -- the bright neon is for the "And..." from RPG Solo.

Question #5: Does Annabelle's armor covered her entire body?
(Somewhat Unlikely) No, but... +Event: Assist / Tactics

This gives me an idea. Her kingdom is using their female knights to test something they called "Clothour" -- think Spandex from the "Power Rangers" TV series and you might pretty close to to how "Clothour" is. The kingdom thinks it might help assist in earlier tactics against enemies.

That means the armor covered the following: her chest, her hip area, both of her arms, both of her legs, both her hands and both of feet.

Have Cassie the Fairy and Lady Annabelle found Eris yet?

(Unlikely) Yes

Wow! Where is Eris?

She is at the Anich River, the long river in the Cassie and Annabelle.

Is Eris going anything?
(Likely) Yes

Creating a water element?
(Unlikely) Yes

For now, the Water Element is a Star 2 with all of its traits at a 4.  Singularity Quality: Water Element. Standard Qualities:  "Can't speak" & "Created by Eris".

After an evil laugh, Eris "I think you have bigger problems than little old me!"  

As the Water Element attacked Lady Annabelle, Eris quickly flies away.

Water Element's Attack is WATER PUNCH 4. Roll is 12. That's a boon in Cartoon Action Hour: 12 + 4 + 2 (If you have a BOON, you can add your Star Power to your attack) = 18.
Annabelle's Defense is to throw her MACE 4. Roll is 12. 12 + 4 + 3 = 19. 19 - 18 = 1. 1 < 4. The Water Element gets a setback token. Now, Cassie is going to take a turn. She is going to fly right into the brain of the Water Element and defeat him. 

Cassie's Attack: FLIGHT + SMART + DICE = 8 + 3 [Her Smarts in the Superhuman Region] + 9 = 20
Water Element's Defense: WATER BODY = 4 + 9 = 13.  
20 - 13 = 7 > 4. 


After Cassie flies right into The Water Element's body, Lady Annabelle taps her feet like an impatient person until the Water Element let out a scream that would make a Banshee head for the hills - -and then turn into steam and fade from the world. 

Cassie stated, "Let's go find Eris before she causes any more problems."

Lady Annabelle nodded in agreement

Last time, I posted in this thread: Cassie and Fairy and Lady Annabelle have fought and defeated a Water Element summoned by the dark fairy, Eris. 

Have they located Eris yet?

Well, I think it's time for a commercial break before the big battle. No one has used any Oomph for this story so far -- so the Game Master did to have Cassie's player and Annabelle's player to do a roll off.

With that roll of 10, the prize is a "Continuity Error" which means that The GM may change one fact about the current scene upon coming back from commercial break. Generally, this alteration should not favor the PCs.

The Game Master decide to tell his players that they have to deal two squads of skeletons with Eris for the upcoming battle because of this prize win. They will a Goon Squad of 0 with nothing added to them.
