the world is not what is used to be. They ruined it. Literally. It's all ruins. I have what I can scrounge. I seemed to have a new friend in a small wild dog. I'm amazed it's not a killer. It's docile. Friendly. He's been with me for a week now. I call him Clipper because he crawled out from under a store sign that said "Clippers Barber Shop". I like having him around. been a while since I saw a dog that I could approach. I think he likes the company too.
I write to keep my mind active. I can hear the sound of my voice in my mind when I put the words down. I talk to clipper now. Feels weird. It had been a long time since I said anything. I twisted my ankle last week and said ow as I did it. It gets quite here. I'm in what used to be Pennsylvania. I saw a sign that said Falls. I headed to a settlement called New Rush. It's supposed to be civilized somewhat. My shoes are shot. I gotta find something for my feet. Time to hunt. I'm hungry. There's a small river or brook nearby. I'll catch a snake or some other animal looking for food. I just don't want to be that food.

MY NOTES: I didn't know you could put the ODDS up till I was done. That's what some of the notes are. This is such a cool idea. I am really enjoying this. It's a good way to get your story out if you write.
