Science Fiction "浮遊要塞" ("The Floating Fortress")
#1
Photo
Setting is shimmering research lab involving stimpack and neutral asteroid belt.

The setting is mutant pyramid involving above average alien parasite and burning research station. Your quest is to escort the mongreloid judge to the collective floating fortress. Trying to stop you is the judgmental skilled in persuasion. You are currently at the alliance moons.

Escape from the occupied research lab.

Argumentative child.

Gas giant facility.

Silicoid pulverizer.

Credit chip.

Planetary history.

So we have a burning research lab (probably the reason why it is shimmering Wink) and a child that's arguing with you.
The alliance moons probably orbit the gas giant and that's where the lab is situated, too.

I say the child is the judge, so I won't have to look for her/him.

I use the stimpack.

Is it a girl?

No. +Event: Inform / Tension

It's a boy. He informs you about (his?) tension. Does he need to go to the loo?

No.

Is he afraid?

Yes, and...

He's crying.

Why mongreloid?

Wise musician.

So he's half "wise musician" what kind of people are those?

Heal / Suffering.

They heal the suffering. What do they look like?

Distracted teenager.

Sheepish? So they're sheepoids (in a _non_ silly way!)

No, I just can't ...

Been googeling for something good and then thought of that Star Wars - like Billy Ocean video ("loverboy");
He's some kind of Han Solo who looks like some bad-booty-ish sheep. So that should do.

I thought of using the stimpack on him too but that would probably only make it worse ...

The mutant pyramid is just a weirdly shaped pyramid-oid the lab is situated in.

Siliconoids are basically stone-people. A weapon made by them to pulverize ought to be ... powerful.
So I have a real good gun, some money and I'm like ... Indiana Jones (cause I'm a History buff)

That's all really nice, but now what?

Demon.

Looks like something for the bad words list? But didn't I read something about a built in chance for stuff from other genres showing up?
Whatever it is - I'll make it a being from another dimension. Should be close enough. It's opposition, but what does it want?

Carry / Anger.

Carry the kid away?

Yes, and...

Kick my sissy booty - I get it ... <_<

I shoot it with the pulverizer.

Am I good at that?

No, and...

and what?

Desert / Travel.

We are now traveling through a desert. Undecided Probably even in another dimension.

So, how are my survival skills?

No, and...

(are they good?) No water?

Yes, and...

No food.

Can I see any structures? Like buildings or anything?

Yes.

Good thing. Smile What is it?

Increase / A representative.

Another pyramid. Lokks a bit like the other one we just left?

No, but...

*looks

Return / Plans.

Might be a ship. We could make plans to return to our own dimension there. So, let's go then!
Any obstacles?

Yes, but... +Event: Overthrow / Stalemate

Someone shows up and helps us. They keep the others in check and we can make it to the pyramid.
(I said it was a pyramid because they were used to make the states representative e.g. the pharaoh look better - increase his status or something)

Who tried to stop us?

Insectoid warrior.

Lovely! Love insectoids!

Who tried to stop them? Same guys?

Yes, and...

Calm physicist.

What species?

Attach / Technology.

Cyborg. Human?

Yes.

"Okay, folks - nobody moves, nobody gets hurt!" You will let those guys go to the pyramid over there - is that understood?"

(Like that guy)

We enter the pyramid.

(What did the guy from the other dimension look like?)

Charming child.

K.

So what do we see inside of the pyramid?

Setting is crystalline stargate involving worn-out flux capacitor and very high quality particle gun.

A stargate! But how can we recharge the capacitor? (ties in really nicely, I have to say!)
Siliconoids are basically chrystalline beings - is the battery from my pulverizer of any help?

Yes, and...

It's actually quite simple to do?

No. +Event: Celebrate / Benefits

I swap guns. We are quite happy that we found a way out. It maybe won't be easy but at least it's something!
I say the 'and' means we found food and stuff - even enough for a little party.
The physicist should know what to do, but what about me? Any good?

Yes, and... +Event: Waste / Pain

The kid's too.

Also: Hangover ...

So, the stimulant probably doesn't work anymore.

So, how hard is it?

5 = 5[d10]

5 success levels ("excellent")

So, we're all very good at it - what about me? d6?

No.

d8?

No.

higher than d10?

No.

The kid? d8?

Yes, but...

a malus (too much sugar last night)

the Physicist - d10?

Yes.

Int? Good?

Yes, but...

hungover - get it. (maybe that's what the stimulant was good for)

D6?

No.

d10?

Yes, but...

yes, you already said that.

Kid - high Int?

No, but...

d4 (he's a judge after all)

43 = 4[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+1[d10]+8[d10]+1[d10]+5[d10]+4[d8]

Not sure whether every one gets to roll his or her 3d4 - so:

40 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+2[d4]+3[d4]+7[d10]+2[d10]+6[d10]+10[d10]+4[d8]

Not much worse - we did it in no time.
(Found it a bit easy, may have to tweak that a bit)

So what's our bonus, because we were so good?

Open / Energy.

Well, I agree - powering a stargate with just a gun's battery is probably enough of a bonus ;-)

So, what happens now?

Ambush / Allies.

K, the bugs are back - they work together now.
Let's get outta here then.
Is the Physician still with us?

No, but...

We can escape.
Trying to manipulate the stargate, so it breaks down after we used it.

Think I forgoz my Int - is it high?

No, but...

d4

18 = 4[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+6[d10]+1[d4]

Very good to excellent.

Neglect / Emotions.

We can hear them cry out in frustration (do bugs do that?) as the power cell burns out giving it's last to help us going back to our dimension.

Where are we now?

Demilitarized ruins.

Nice.

I just wondered - if the kid's a jugde - is the parasite maybe inside of him (somewhat like a "Trill" in Star Trek?)

Yes, and...

The judge's actually him?

No, but...

Oh, okay. So the kid probably "transports" the parasite? (talking "stargate" & pyramids: Also Goa'uld.

Yes.

Is it more like a "being sick" parasite?

No.

K.

We search the ruins - what can we find out?

Guide / Suffering.

Some guy lies there, suffering. Is he wounded?

No, but...

Is he sick?

No.

Is he hungry?

Yes.

Did I think of taking some food along?

Yes.

"Here, you're starving man! Have some of this!"

What does he look like?

Shy student.

Is it a guy?

No.

A girl. Is she Human?

No.

What kind of Alien?

Lazy monk.

But rather close: She's monkey-oid! Hello cousin!
So she'll be our guide?

Yes.

She shows us around the ruins - are those in fact old? Or were those structures destroyed in a war?

Passion / Weather.

Militarized frigate.

So, is it old?

No, and...

The war's not over long?

Yes.

So, who fought here?

Silicoid pulverizer.

Sergeant.

Ditzy female worker.

Silics vs. communist Amazons. Insectoids?

No.

Maybe rodents?

No.

Punish / Technology.

Ditzy Silicoid programmer.

Hunter.

Probably some faction of the Silicoids.

No, and...

Nothing like that at all. The parasites?

Yes.

So, are they all female? Like bees or something?

Yes.

K. (Now I'm a bit disappointed, but it's still cool)

So, there was a frigate involved - did it destroy all the structures here?

No.

Did it defend them?

Yes, but... +Event: Fight / Joy

It didn't succeed. Is it still here?

Yes.

Someone's having fun fighting. Maybe the girl and the kid?

Yes.

Cute. Smile

Let's find that ship - maybe we can get away from here!

Does the girl know where it is?

Yes.

Let's go there then.

What does it look like?

Harm / Opposition.

Battered. Thought so.

Does it still fly?

Yes, and...

and what?

Assist / Home.

Navigational systems still working, too! *Huzza!*

Temporal flux medical station.

We enter the ship and find that there's something weird going on at the medical station.
Due to a Star Trek wiki, it's something you can find in someone's "bioelectric pattern". It means that person has been to or is from another time.

Is it one of us?

No. +Event: Harm / Technology

So, it's someone here at the sickbay.

Did someone get harmed?

Yes, and... +Event: Refuse / Tactics

I guess something blew up on us. Probably the tactical system. Who got hurt?

Persecute / Masses.

K, we all got hurt. Let's treat those wounds then. Anyone good at medicine?

No.

So some bot will have to do. Anything here?

No, but...

We call one to get here asap.

So, who's that temporal flux guy here at the sick bay?

Angry corporal.

Pessimistic statesman who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to guide racism, advance family, and report nature; who speaks of insane plans and is focused on your contacts.

Dangerous fugitive.

Is he a Christalline?

Yes.

Does the girl have a parasite?

Yes.

The ship's not Christalline, is it?

No.

So, what does he do here (he?)

Yes, and...

Very manly, I guess. Why has he been to another time? Maybe he tried not to get hit in the battle?

Yes.

Does that technology still work?

No.

What a petty ... <_<

Is it hard to repair?

Yes, and...

He wants to keep it?

Yes, and...

He's dangerous. Does he ask about the parasites?

Yes, and...

Negligence / Love.

He doesn't like them. We already thought so.

Do they tell him?

No.

Does he have means to find out?

No.

Device broken?

No, but...

He doesn't have it right now?

Yes, and... +Event: Desert / Dispute

The power cell's out of - well - power.

DOes the medi-bot arrive?

Yes, but...

Pursue / Expectations.

It needs modification to be able to do medic-stuff?

Yes.

K, who's good at that? The girl?

Yes.

d4?

Yes.

Int? High?

No, and...

A malus. (d4's actually not that high, so it's probably d6 then)

Int = d4?

No. +Event: Pursue / Death

d2?

Yes.

Does the Sergeant try to kill us?

No.

The bot?

No, but...

The bot tries to kill the sergeant?

Yes, and...

It's good at it?

No.

It does so right now?

Yes. +Event: Postpone / Anger

"Hey, easy folks! Didn't mean it like that!" The sergeant calms down a bit.

I decide to call another bot for help. Successfully?

Yes, but... +Event: Move / A burden

Might take a while.

Probably better not to tell him, we plan to reprogram it.

Is he clever?

Yes.

d6?

No, but...

"Only" d8.

Am I good at bluffing?

Yes, and...

I'll get a bonus.

d6?

Yes.

14 = 1[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+6[d6]

15 = 2[d4]+1[d4]+1[d4]+5[d8]+6[d8]

Bonus higher than 1?

Yes.

K, made it.

2 = 2[d5]

K, only by one. But still ...

18 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+6[d6]+1

Excellent! I say it has a d10 now.

How bad were we hurt.

Minor Injury: Largely superficial; painful and distracting, but not life threatening.

Minor Injury: Largely superficial; painful and distracting, but not life threatening.

Negligible: Nick/Scratch/Bruise.

Negligible: Nick/Scratch/Bruise.

Dex? High?

No, and...

a malus?

No, but...

It's very low. 1?

No.

d4 then.

10 = 1[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+4[d10]+2[d4]

16 = 1[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+7[d10]+4[d4]

13 = 4[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+4[d10]+1[d4]

15 = 2[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+5[d10]+4[d4]

So it heals us all. Nice. What now?

Praise / Tension.

K, ppl are glad the bot treated their wounds so well, yet there's still tension.

I talk to the other's if we should put him into a cell or something.

No, but...

"Let's keep an eye on him"

Are there any other Chrissies on board?

Yes, but...

We don't know. We ask him.

10 = 1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+3[d6]+2[d4]

24 = 2[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+7[d8]+7[d8]

He kinda sees right through my bluff.
Can't get anything out of him.

11 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+2[d4]+2[d6]+1

The monkey girl uses the ship's computer though and finds a couple other ones. Many?

Yes, but...

Usurp / Hope.

Their morale is low. Let's try to bluff them to gather at the same spot.

11 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+2[d6]+2[d4]

Are they're all that clever?

No, but...

rather. d6.

12 = 1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+3[d6]+4[d6]

Malus due to morale higher than 1?

No, and...

Now they know. Great.

More than 10?

Yes.

Many more?

No.

Like 20?

No, and... +Event: Triumph / Fears

Between 10 and 20. Their fears overcome them. Do they do what we want?

Yes.

We use a force field to imprison them.

Monkey-girl keeps looking for others. We probably shouldn't leave them here - they could either be a danger for the people here or get imprisoned or worse by their enemies. Does monkey-firl want to come with us?

No.

*girl

Pretty please?

No.

19 = 2[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+6[d6]+4[d4]

8 = 1[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+2

I can persuade her to come with us, but I feel bad about it now - is it her family?

Yes.

We contact them. What do they say?

Travel / Legal matters.

probably plan to call the police. Are they hungry too?

Yes, and...

Thirsty?

No, but...

Ill?

Yes.

Probably weak from starving. We bring them some food and ask them if they want to leave with us. Also others here in the region.

No.

Okay then - we promise to come back with some food and leave monkey girl with their family.
Do they all have parasites?

Yes.

We get the ship into orbit. Am I good at that?

No.

Is the kid good at that?

Yes, but...

Not very. d4?

No, and...

a malus. d6?

Yes, but...

Maybe it's the parasite?

Yes.

Int? High?

Yes, and...

A bonus?

No, and...

It's very high?

No, but...

Oh, the ship's computer helps us, right?

Yes. +Event: Abuse / Jealously

K, let's say we made it.

Mutant badlands.

The orbit?

Yes, and... +Event: Dominate / Suffering

The computer's so good - one could get jealous. It feels like we kinda "abuse" the system as it does everything for us.

A station?

Yes.

K, the post apocalyptic space station threatens us. Obviously those guys are just hungry but there's not much we can do.
Weapons, however are offline. We could try and bluff them or just ... fly away.

"Go for it!!!"

Change / Stalemate.

They fire at us, but we are fast enough to evade.

28 = 3[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]+6[d20]+13[d20]

34 = 1[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+20[d20]+9[d20]

19 = 1[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+8[d20]+6[d20]

30 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+2[d4]+20[d20]+1[d20]

K, they got us. Probably better to negotiate. As we already promised to bring food, we try that.

11 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+1[d6]

They're probably not very bright: 2

12 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+2

Still better than us. They don't really believe us. Now what?

Imprison / Messages.

Do they send us a message, they want to imprison us?

No, but...

The prisoners try to contact us?

No. +Event: Harm / Danger

They try to message them. Some hatemail, no doubt as we get attacked again.

Minor Injury: Largely superficial; painful and distracting, but not life threatening.

K, try to persuade them again.

14 = 2[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]+3[d4]+3[d6]

7 = 3[d4]+1[d4]+1[d4]+2

2 success levels. That's actually good. Malus because of the Chrystallines:

Severe Injury: Incapacitating and may become Critical if untreated.

Very high. I'll say it's 5 - so that's no success level then for us.

19 = 4[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+5[d6]

10 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+2

So that'S 14 to 10 - 2 success levels.

5 = 5[d7]

6 = 6[d7]

(I used "obfuscate" and "point" btw.)

12 = 4[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+2[d4]+2[d6]

8 = 2[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+2

2 = 2[d7]

That was "dismiss".

It's only 3 success levels but I say we made it.

Next stop: The floating fortress. Is it far?

Yes, and...

Hard to reach, I guess. Well, then we will have to find some food first. Is there anything close? Like a agricultural world?

No, and...

Adversity / Illness.

*an

Someone's ill. The starving people on the planet?

No.

The Chrystallines?

No, and...

They're actually quite healthy? So it's us?

Yes.

Maybe the symbiont?

Yes, and...

The boy too.

Me too?

No.

K, so what kind of planet is close?

Mysterious production plant.

Maybe it can produce food! Let's go there, then.

We try to contact them.

Bestow / Illness.

They're probably afraid that they will get ill, too.

I ask the medi-bot what it is:

Adjourn / Peace.

The boy gets rages and stuff - maybe a tranquilizer?

No.

Do they have food to spare at all?

No.

What do they produce?

Disrupt / Dreams.

Stim-packs or something. Why is it mysterious though? Maybe drugs?

Yes. +Event: Delay / A project

What project?

Deceive / Technology.

A ship uncloakes.

Deceitful athlete.

Devoted merchant who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to achieve wrath, obtain ghosts, and collaborate the populous; who speaks of hostile news and is focused on your campaign.

"ghosts" could be a "bad word" here - dunno.

Apparently this merchant wants to pi ... infuriate me.
Maybe the judgmental skilled in persuasion sent him?

He probably threatens to destroy our ship.

As the Chryssies are far more than us he probably also tries to 'colaborate' with them.
(Or the guys from the station? Or both?)

I try to talk to him:

14 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+2[d4]+1[d4]+5[d6]

Is he clever?

No, but...

Waste / Prison.

The Chryssies warn him of me.

d4?

No, but...

A bonus. Is it high?

No, and...

Only once. 2?

No.

1?

Yes.

7 = 1[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+3

7 = 7[d7]

"Rebuttal"

3 to none. That looks rather good. Probably was just bluffing.
Does he know where to get medicine and food?

Yes. +Event: Stop / Illness

He sold the medicine right from his ship. Good thing! Now where to get some food. Also: Does he have information about the floating fortress?

No.

Oh, okay. Could have been worse. We fly to the coordinates he gave us for some food.

Mnemonic battleship.

*when we asked where to get some food for the starving people.

I take the opportunity to learn something about History; A "mnemonic battleship" should know a lot about wars and stuff.

We tell them that the people are starving and need food. Do they agree to help?

Yes.

Maybe like U.N. troops?

No, but...

Or Star Trek federation type guys?

Yes.

That is nice. Those people oughta help 'em down there. Also: The guys at the station ("Don't get shot!" Wink )

Do they know anything about the floating fortress?

No.

Could they repair our weapons?

Yes.

Also, they might be able to take care of the Chrystals?

Yes, but... +Event: Abandon / Wounds

When we try to beam them over, they're all gone. Only one is still there and he's wounded. I tell them about the time-travelling device and they scan for chronoton particles.

Yes.

We question the the wounded guy as he gets treated by their doctor. Does he talk?

Yes.

So did they use their devices?

Yes.

Did his malfunction and that's why he's wounded?

No. +Event: Propose / Rumour

Did they wound him?

Yes, and...

Left him there for good. He's more than willing to talk!

Travel / Energy.

He tells us how they got the energy to travel. Did it harm our ship?

No.

Do I get the plans for that device?

Yes.

Yisss! Big Grin

We leave the last Chrystalline with them and fare them all goodbye.

As our guns work again I am more than confident we can make it to the "Floating Fortress".

End of part 1

Tachyon badlands.
Reply
#2
LOL, monkey-girl. I'm glad things worked out for you in the end.
Reply
#3
Tachyon badlands.

*Computer voice* "We are approaching Tachyon badlands."

"Hm, doesn't sound good. Do we have to enter them?

Yes, and...

It's dangerous.

Is the Floating Fortress in there?

No, but...

Haggle / Balance.

Our odds against other ships are higher in there. It might also hide us from other ship's scanners. Also Tachyon particles have something to do with time travel. I shall work at getting one of those personal time-travel devices cobbled together, while we fly through the badlands.

Does anything special happen? I'm a bit wary that the "judgemental skilled in persuasion" didin't find us yet.

(Maybe it was that trans-dimensional guy back then, though Undecided)

Yes, but...

Nothing dangerous. What happens?

Move / Illusions.

Illusions move through the ship?

No, but...

It's the other way round. I relax and enjoy the spectacular view.

Anything else?

No.

After those "Fata Morganas" from another place and another time, nothing much more happened. Did I manage to build one or two of those devices?

8 = 2[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+1[d4]+1[d6]

14 = 3[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+3[d6]

Not me, but the kid. Was it enough to actually make a couple though?

No.

So we have our first 3 success levels here - not too bad! Smile

What now?

Neutral weapon array.

We exit the Tachyon badlands and find a weapon array. Is it deserted?

No.

It'S neutral though - we try to contact it.

Attainment / Weather.

So, that's what a neutral weapon array does: It tries to make weather. Smile

So, how do they fare? Good?

No, and...

It annoys them. Can we help?

No.

I say we're sorry they don't succeed and wish them the very best. Anything else there?

Yes, and...

Struggle / Attention.

Probably rather lonely there - I decide to have a little chat with them.

Procrastinate / Tension.

Which probably gets them into trouble. I wish them all the best and leave. What now?

Temporal flux freighter.

Now that's rather nice. Is it a Chrystalline freighter?

Yes, but...

They don't hate us - good! Smile

I try and buy something from them.

Yes.

So, what did I get?

Refuse / Pleasures.

Plasma torch.

A torture device for Chrystallines. Well, hrmph. K.
Anything else?

No, but...

They have information on the Floating Fortress.

Carry / Stalemate.

Maybe they just found out about the devices that were used on board our ship. How do they feel about it? Are they angry?

No.

I just wondered - maybe they have a device like that for their ship. We might want that, too. Can I talk them into giving us the plans?

No.

Well, I guess so - anything else?

Yes, but...

Fight / Power.

Is it about why the Chryssies fought?

Yes.

Is it a bad thing?

No, but... +Event: Judge / Pain

The kid's in pain - because of his symbiote?

No, but...

*symbiont

It's not happy - apparently they're at war with the Chryssies.

No.

Is he sick again?

Yes. +Event: Betray / Tension

He just played sick. Probably doesn't like the Chryssies?

No.

He wants attention?

Yes.

Does he want a plasma torch, too?

Yes. +Event: Develop / Wishes

I don't think it's a good thing to give a child a plasma torch, especially when it's meant to be a torture device and even more so when the kid is a judge - so: No!

I bid them farewell and leave, unless they want to learn anything else about our Chryssies?

No, and...

They want to go on too.

So what keeps us from going to the Flying Fortress?

Fight / Art.

Lost dreadnaught.

Can we salvage it?

No.

I'll try anyway. Am I good at it?

Yes.

d6?

Yes.

13 = 4[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+3[d6]

Good! So, what shape is it in?

Moderate Injury: Hampers action significantly; will require first aid/medical attention.

K, let's get a couple bots on that. Does the dreadnought have a lot of service bots?

No.

But a few?

Yes, but...

They don't work. I'll reprogram one of our bots to repair the bots on board the dn. Those should then repair the other bots, maybe build a few new ones and then subsequently reapair the whole ship. We'll stay in contact with the drones. Will we need communications beacons to do that?

No, and...

Do it so!

Btw: What species were those guys on the weapons array?

Hasty female physicist.

Shrewd con artist.

Intelligent refugee.

Grunt.

Amphibian hunter.

Amphibians. Mostly female, intelligent - even good physicists; Cunning, yet grunts. A bit shrewd and good hunters. They're refugees.

"Are we there yet?"

No.

Frozen fleet.

Dude, what's going on here? probably a couple cry-ships?

No.

So the ships are actually frozen?

No.

*cryo

Maybe they transport frozen food?

Yes, and...

Frozen water?

Yes. +Event: Excitement / Tension

Kid judge gets all excited "ICE CREEEAAMMM!!!"

I try to buy some food and water.

No.

Man, that's mean.

16 = 3[d4]+2[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+6[d6]

Are they very clever?

No.

d2?

No, and...

A malus? Okay.

10 = 2[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]+2

malus higher than 1?

Yes, but...

only 1. That's enough.

4 = 4[d7]

"Incite"

8 = 1[d4]+2[d4]+1[d4]+1[d4]+3[d6]

14 = 3[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+1[d6]

9 = 4[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+1

3 = 3[d7]

"Feint"

Yeah, they sell us something - frozen food, ice cream, water!!! (Very nice!)

We move on, so they don't get angry at us. Wink

Probability listening post.

Oh, prob-tech. What are they listening to?

Divide / Portals.

Maybe some space rift. All very esoteric. Trans-dimensional beings and stuff. What species are they?

Eager female agent.

Eager female agent.Virtuous banker. Deceitful teacher. Hedonistic champion. Popular female lieutenant. Aloof mercenary. Popular Alien pilot. Obsessive-compulsive female coordinator. Sadistic mechanic. Calm Alien scoundrel. Logical female psion. Imaginative female prince.

Oh, psions! (Makes sense)

Imaginative prisoner. Charming female judge. Devil's advocate Replicant spy.

Replicants!

Sounds interesting, yet creepy - what did they find out?

Separate / Failure.

The rift probably came into existence when two dimensions tried to separate from each other.
(Now, didn't we learn something about trans-dimensional physics now? Maybe they're wrong, though <_&ltWink

Anything that could help us with the Floating Fortress?

Yes, and...

Adjourn / New ideas.

Maybe it's one of those typical RPG things where you forget about the actual quest happen to do something quite different - but not this time (mainly because I want to get rid of that little brat) - "are we there yet??"

No.

Is it on the other side of the rift?

Yes, and...

It's hard to get there?

Yes, but...

It can be done - no wonder we didn't find it: We weren't even transported to the right dimension / parallel universe back in that pyramid!

I'll give the dreadnought time to repair itself and try to get one of those temporal cloaking devices from the Cryssies.

I could probably sell parts of one of the ships or both to get one or two - or even only the plans. If they put those on freighters they can't be that expensive.

Yes, and...

Some more stuff we could use back home!

I would also like to get some of the girls from the weapon's array, maybe a few monkey people and a couple of the nicer chryssies to come with us as a crew. Also one or two replicants and whomever we could get from that "federation" ship.

Yes, and...

We even find some more people from other species who would like to join us.
(Good we have all that frozen food! Wink)

Then finally it's time to fly through the rift!

*dundundunnn*

So, everything's going smoothly here?

No.

"Oh, noezzz!!!?? What is happening???"

Truce / Portals.

Are there laws against passing those portals?

No.

Our weapons - we won't be able to use them while travelling through the rift?

No, and...

It's not our shields either.

Propose / Fame.

The crew starts interfighting and I give a motivating speech?

Yes.

"I'm afraid!" "Shut up you lousy Crystalline!" "Who you call lousy?!! I'll hit you in the face!"

"Shut up everybody! We will be famous!!!"

12 = 4[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+3[d6]

Good enough.

And now we enter - our old home universe!

*dundundunnn*

Is it far yet?

Yes, but...

We finally have it on our maps!

What's next?

Cloaked moons.

Do we get the temporal flux signature?

Yes.

So it's people from the other universe. Cloaking a whole moon probably isn't easy. Can we see if they're Crystals?

No. +Event: Failure / Allies

They're fighting again.

It will probably take a while until they start acting like a crew.

13 = 2[d4]+4[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+1[d6]

"Good", that should be good enough for now. Let's not look at those moons for now and just mark them on our maps.

Hidden vortex.

16 = 4[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+2[d4]+3[d4]

(Int roll)

Apparently you can use a vortex to travel real fast.

18 = 4[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+7[d10]

15 = 4[d4]+4[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+3[d10]

Aaand that physics dream team does it again: Together we have a whopping "outrageous" success!!

"Are we there yet?"

Yes.

Finally: The "Floating Fortress" - but what happened to the guy who wanted to stop us? Is he here?

Yes, and...

He brought his allies!

Alien.

Curious conscript who is much weaker than you and whose motivation is to plunder compassion, fulfill animals, and proclaim technology; who speaks of insane madness and is focused on your antagonist.

He and his alien henchperson are no match for our frigate and the dreadnought!

To feel at least a bit of accomplishment stopping those guys from trying to stop us it's hand to hand combat!

(Am I good at that?)

No, and...

I'm actually really bad. What about my dex? Is it high?

Yes.

d4?

No.

(d6) d10?

No.

d8?

No, but...

d8+1?

Yes. +Event: Overthrow / Animals

That alien seems to have something with animals - they're probably trying to knock me down.

Yes.

12 = 3[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+1+2[d8]+1

Are those animals good?

Yes, and...

d8?

Yes, and...

d10?

No, and...

Boni higher than 1?

No.

16 = 1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+3[d8]+7[d8]+1

19 = 1[d4]+4[d4]+2[d4]+8[d8]+3[d8]+1

So, our hero gets out of his starship, dramatically drops his gun - makes some martial arts moves, just to show he can do it ...
and then gets knocked of his feet by his opponent's mook's two pets ...
("Lulz" I shall say ;D)

But whatever - there are still the crews of two major ships, including one very angry young judge.

As he's been some kind of second in command he just orders a couple of the men / women / femal replicants

To get those two guys and bring them to the brig - then we see him toying with his favorite plasma torch ...

THE END

I feel exactly the same! Did you follow the link? Apparently he worked at some kind of remake of MoO (1 I think)

There were some fan made mode for 3 but I never had the opportunity to try them out. I loved the micro management and how you could approach the whole thing in so many different ways but if you weren't playing to 'win' the computer A.I. was too strong in the end, because I could never be botherd to manage so many planets and ships and the computer didn't mind. And they always attacked.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Episode II - 'Ole pirates yes they rob I'

I decided I'll make the hero a hot chick in black latex.
I also decided to give 'Kid Judge' a second chance as he saved the day last time and come obn:
Just look at that pic of him! <3

The setting is massive city involving above average holo-projector and feudal hideout. Your quest is to convince the arachnid hunter at the dark observatory. Trying to stop you is the sloppy skilled in alertness. You are currently at the interstellar singularity.

Setting is time-warped moon involving high quality phosphorescent lantern and liberated asteroid belt.

Uncouth sniper who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to overthrow valor, abuse family, and deter academia; who speaks of knowing agendas and is focused on your allies.

Rescue marooned survivors from the phased nebula.

Rude outlaw.

Collective cube.

Arachnid queen.

Vibro-axe.

Surgery.

Urks - spiders. Never!

We'll make them robo-spiders. I immediately had to think of those "Stargate" replicants.

Look at those: Perfect tie in to our last adventure! 0o

So we get back to that vortex and then back to that rift to have a look at those chrono-cloaked moons.
(As we remember that was a technology from that parallel universe we were in last time)

So, we are in that big city, talking to our contact - a headhunter kind of type. He speaks us of "knowing agendas" - all very
mysterious. Does he really know anything or is he just trying to make a quick buck out of us?

16 = 4[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]

(2x int)

Sounds legit.

So, what does he know? (He could actually be the arachnid hunter - that would mean he's actually female - or a 'bladerunner'.

- 'Bladerunner' - so that's what the city looks like - nice! ^_^

Guide / Allies.

Okay, so he could get us to whomever. Maybe the feudal hideout? THe hideout of the queen of the replicants? Maybe they have some kind of 'Borg' cube too (no, that's not Swedish!)

We'll have to convince him first though:

7 = 7[d7]

"Rebuttal"

How good is he at that? Good?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

So, better than d6. D8?

(50/50 | 5[d10]) No, but...

A bonus.

In? High?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

It's even d10.

(*'better than d4')

High bonus?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

14 = 1[d4]+1[d4]+1[d4]+3[d6]+7[d8]+1

4 = 4[d7]

He uses "incite" - but to no avail.

*dundundunnn*

So, where does he lead us? The asteroid belt?

(50/50 | 9[d10]) Yes.

So it's newly liberated. A regional thing?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

It's a very small scale - thingy - war - whatevs. Maybe pirates?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

K, but a local thing. Is the replicant queen here?

(50/50 | 9[d10]) Yes.

Is that even a good thing? I don't know. <_< Should we tryna talk to her?

"So, your majesty - what's going on here?"

Celebrate / Inside.

A party. o0

No, but really - oh, nevermind - we'll attend the party of the replicant queen!!
So, what's the reason?

Praise / Business.

Business going well, huh?

Inform / Weapons.

Arms trafficking? So anything good here? Some nice Replicant weaponry, hm? Anything we could use for our ships or anything?

(Very Likely | 8[d10]) Yes.

What is it?

Work hard / Balance.

Cheap particle gun.

lulz - k, they can make them really cheap - let's get loads of them then!
And some 'off-balancer'

Oh, I forgot btw: XPs from last session (I'll put them into Martial Arts)

2 = 2[d5]

That's half the points I would need to get to level 2.

5 = 5[d5]

Kid Judge gets a brimming 5! (total max). After all he saved the day in the end.

Is everybody at the party happy?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

Nice albeit maybe a bit boring. Anything else?

Increase / Enemies.

We're making enemies here - let's leave!

After all there are some people in the nebula to be rescued!
"To the rescue!" *tadaa*

We enter our newly armed ships and leave for the Tachyon badlands. Before we can get there, we'll have to pass through the rift.

Anything special happening?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

Good.

Inspect / The mundane.

I'd like to find out a bit more about the Replicant queen though. Let's ask this universe's replicants! (We remember: There is a some science lab on this side of the rift, where Replicants examine said rift. We say 'hi!' and tell them about the queen. Is she from this universe or our's? Do they know?

(50/50 | 4[d10]) No.

That's that thing where you automatically assume all Replicants know each other just because they're replicants. She does command that Borg cube kinda ship, so we inform them about it. Also: Do they know anything about the cloaked crystalline moons on the other side?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

Oh. What is it?

Adversity / Death.

Sworn enemies of the Replicants, I fetch. *dundundunn*

What are they up to?

Disrupt / Fame.

Probably stole their fame or anything. K.

Let's get to that nebula!

'Are we there yet?'

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

What happens?

Cyborg sphere.

Queen's ship?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and...

They hate her?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

Did they find out we use their weapons?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

Uh, oh. <_< What happens?

Ruin / Competition.

They would have sold them to us as a much cheaper price. K, let's buy stuff from them. (Might run out of money soo - let's get some credits soon!)
What do they have?

Old plasma cutter.

Hm, k. Let's buy some and then get away from here.

'Are we there yet?'

(Somewhat Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

Hard to scan in the badlands. Let's try anyway though. Are we good at it?

(50/50 | 5[d10]) No, but...

Our scanners are. 1?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

So it's d4. Bonus high?

(50/50 | 9[d10]) Yes.

2 = 2[d5]

Malus?

4 = 4[d5]

11 = 3[d4]+1[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+2-4

Suscess! Let's contact them: (we rool, because of the Tachyons)
Are we good at it?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and...

A malus. 1?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

4 = 4[d5]

10 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+3[d4]+1+3[d4]-4

Success! 'What's up?'

Develop / Adversities.

Probably infighting. Let's get them out of the nebula. Is their ship maneuverable?

(50/50 | 9[d10]) Yes.

Why do they actually need to be rescued?

Divide / Riches.

From themselves, I fetch. Do they have some base of operation apart from their ship(s)?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and...

It'S only one ship?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

Systems breaking down?

(Somewhat Likely | 4[d10]) No, but...

They fight. Are they some kind of pirates?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and...

They actually hate those guys. Good we aren't pirates. Do they have any representants?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

More than one. Many factions?

(50/50 | 6[d10]) Yes, but...

They agree on a few guys to speak for them all.
'Sup?'

Bestow / Portals.

Upon whom? Us?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

Upon them?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

Quick. So they want a portal. Should we take them through the rift?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

Then some other place. Whose slaves were they, before they escaped?

Athletic outlaw.

Nefarious politician who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to secure dissonance, develop the forsaken, and attempt distress; who speaks of prejudiced accident and is focused on your equipment.

'Ole' pirates yes they rob I ...'

K, let's go then.

Oh and btw. Did those starving monkeys and the outlaws in the orbit get some food?

(Very Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

*any

Are they fine?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and... +Event: Travel / Masses

Mass exodus. Very sad. Can we be of assistance?

(50/50 | 6[d10]) Yes, but...

Can't do much really I suppose?

(Very Likely | 8[d10]) Yes.

K, let's get to the rift. 'Are we there yet'?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

Liberated labyrinth.

What kind of labyrinth?

Delay / Outside.

Oh, an asteroid field I suppose! And people are standing in line to pass through it?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

So, let's wait then Let's chat with the other guys! Whose here?

Flexible soldier.

*who's

Serene caretaker who is slightly stronger than you and whose motivation is to process literature, embrace legends, and encourage the church; who speaks of friendly reports and is focused on your flaws.

Deviant Orion admiral.

Established jack-of-all-trades who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to proclaim disbelief, accompany knowledge, and blight enlightenment; who speaks of scheming chaos and is focused on your equipment.

Interesting guys. Hope nobody tries to steal from us!

So, is it our turn yet?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

Let's do that then! the judge's trill is our best pilot.
Dex? High?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes. +Event: Spy / Opulance

Quite a few asteroids, eh?

(50/50 | 3[d10]) No.

A spy?

(50/50 | 5[d10]) No, but...

Maybe they tapped our comm?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

Who? One of the guys here?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

That outlaw guy?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

K, let's pretend we didn't notice.

d6?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and...

d10. Nice. Difficulty?

5 = 5[d5]

Worse than 10?

(50/50 | 3[d10]) No.

4 = 1[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+4[d10]+1[d6]-10

Ouch!

(4 = 4[d20]) Negligible: Nick/Scratch/Bruise.

Is it over yet?

(50/50 | 3[d10]) No.

2 = 4[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+3[d10]+1[d6]-10

(9 = 9[d20]) Minor Injury: Largely superficial; painful and distracting, but not life threatening.

Over yet?

(Somewhat Likely | 3[d10]) No.

7 = 2[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+9[d10]+2[d6]-10

(15 = 15[d20]) Moderate Injury: Hampers action significantly; will require first aid/medical attention.

(Likely | 6[d10]) Yes.

K, I guess that's for both ships. So they need repair but only first aid.

15 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+2[d4]+5[d10]+1[d4]

22 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+8[d10]+3[d4]

K, that should do - Our heroine and the kid pull it with their mad repair skills again!

'Are we there yet'? (Oh, and let's get rid of that bug, shan't we?)

12 = 4[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+2[d10]+2[d4]

(Somewhat Likely | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

We can get some much needed repairs.

Right through that rift we go!

Anything special?

Recruit / Friendship.

Remember how our crews were interfighting? Looking back at that, now real friendship has developed among those men and women (and female replicants)

Aaaw! :3

So, where should we take those former slaves?

Subterranean shipyards.

K. Is it far?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

'Are we there yet?'

(50/50 | 9[d10]) Yes.

Care / Liberty.

'Take care of your liberty for you know how it is not to have it'

All very touching, really. Also we ask some of those guys if they want to join our crew.

(Sure Thing | 9[d10]) Yes.

So, ship overhaul then? Wink Anything nifty too?
(also good to know about a hidden shipyard, run by people who like us!) Wink

Very high quality survival pack.

Laser pistol.

Deteriorating diagrams.

But for our ships? Like 'shipyard' - wise?

Processing core.

(Deteriorating diagrams. = Blueprints for disintegrators btw)

Oh, that's nifty: Some kimd of minerals or plasma or whatevs processing core? Or rather a computer?

(50/50 | 6[d10]) Yes, but...

*kind

But what?

Transform / Plans.

Also plans for some processing device. Nice - I thought about having a little factory on board to make stuff.
In fact: Let's do that. We'll need some credits anyway. But we should do it ourselves and give them something for it.

Although the replicants should be able to do a lot of stuff with their nanobots.
(we'll see about that)

So, let's get some money and some food.

Liberated settlement.

Right here?

(50/50 | 8[d10]) Yes.

But how?

Adjourn / Tactics.

Okay, next time then.

So it's

THE END

Of yet another adventure of ... err ...

Celebrate / Prison.

Well, whetevs - we seriously need names and stuff ...

The setting is dystopian outpost involving sonic screwdriver and insidious production plant. Your quest is to escort refugees from the hidden vortex. Trying to stop you is the ill skilled in xeno-pathology. You are currently at the interstellar nebula.

Setting is uncharted frigate involving diagrams and cyclic vortex.

Addicted civilian who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to learn slavery, blight secret societies, and understand faith; who speaks of inquisitive submission and is focused on your last action.

Duel the champion of the orion anomaly.

Tough queen.

Mutant outpost.

Suicidal maniac.

Rocket launcher.

Engineering.

So we are at the interstellar nebula. Somewhere here, hidden within it's depth there's a vortex. Also it's cyclic.

A mutant, dystopian outpost with a secret sonic screwdriver production plant.

We are on board of the frigate. Diagrams are involved. I suppose we're trying to build something from the blueprints we got in the last episode.

I suppose the tough quuen is the Replicant queen.

What did the refugees flee from?

Stop / Friendship.

The end of an alliance?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and... +Event: Dominate / Weather

Maybe some kind of civil war and their weather control system stopped working?

(Somewhat Likely | 5[d10]) Yes, but...

Maybe the cyclic vortex?

(Likely | 4[d10]) No, but...

The nebula?

(50/50 | 3[d10]) No.

What's on the other side of the vortex?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and...

Befriend / Food.

They are starving.

So, where do they want to go to?

Dominate / The mundane.

Mechanical depot.

Is it far?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

What's with that addicted civilian? He asks us about our last adventure - what does he want to know?

Cruelty / Inside.

Maybe he wants to sell them for drugs.

(Somewhat Likely | 6[d10]) Yes.

Nice guy. <_< I won't tell him anything. What's with that suicidal maniac with the rocket launcher? Is it him?

(Somewhat Likely | 5[d10]) Yes, but...

He's not that insane yet ...

We'll see. What about the xeno-pathologist - is he here, too?

(50/50 | 5[d10]) No, but...

He's never far away. So, we have an illustrious little group of people on board of our ship. Let's just get those guys to where they want to go:

'Are we there yet?'

(Somewhat Unlikely | 5[d10]) No.

Militarized matrix.

Are we in the matrix?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

We don't know. Let's see if I suspect anyrhing:

17 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]

That's rather good:

'Wait a minute here - this doesn't seem real. Somethings wrong here ...'

(Oh, XP btw)

1 = 1[d5]

2 = 2[d5]

Do they believe me?

11 = 2[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]

Apparently - but how to leave? Does the computer know anything?

(Somewhat Unlikely | 7[d10]) Yes, but...

it's inside the matrix - so it's not very helpful. Still ...

Dominate / Energy.

Maybe if we blew up the engine - we would all wake up? Rather risky though: What if we're wrong?

Any other options?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

Debase / Plans.

Maybe there's a pattern in the blueprints? Or if we build it, it's some way out? Maybe someone tries to help us or it's our own subconscious. Let's build that shtuff.

21 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+2[d4]+10[d10]

19 = 3[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]+9[d10]

K, what did we get?

Ambush / Opposition.

We get ambushed: The maniac and the pathologist?

(Very Likely | 9[d10]) Yes. +Event: Take / Nature

We take to the woods, while someone - laughing manically - launches rockets a us.

*boom* *boom* *boom* *muahahahahaha*

Corporate dreadnaught.

Meanwhile on board the other ship:

Repair the damage at the lost anomaly.

Ship gets repaired. Maybe he launched those missiles from his own ship, rather than from inside of our frigate?

(Very Likely | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

He hit both ships. We teleported to some remote forest, but we're still inside the matrix.

So - what did we cobble together back at the spaceship?

Above average flux capacitor.

Nice! ^_^

So, now we need something to connect it to. What about our personal transporters? They're some kind of little time machines after all.

15 = 3[d4]+3[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+5[d10]

10 = 2[d4]+2[d4]+3[d4]+2[d4]+1[d10]

Not as good as usually. What happens?

Brute.

Intergalactic instillation.

We're at the core of time itself it seems - instant epiphany. Should catapult us outside the matrix immediately. ^_^

(Very Likely | 6[d10]) Yes.

Okay, so where are we really?

Mutated biodome.

It also said "artificial planet" before - so it's still some kind of forest but it's under some dome.

Let's find that out:

20 = 4[d4]+4[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]+6[d10]

14 = 1[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]

(scratch the first one, just didn't want to retype / copy-paste because of 'clear last'

So, have we been inside the matrix all of the time and just didn't know?
(Thinking about it ... I don't wanna know yet.)

Can we breath outside the biodome?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

It's even quite populated. WHo lives here?

Dumb official.

Insecure female Silicoid theorist.

Silics (aka 'dem cryssies')!

So, she's some kind of dumb-ish theorist. Scientists are probably their rulers.

(Very Likely | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

They are all very clever, albeit maybe a bit single minded.

Let's talk to her - did you create the matrix?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

You're quite proud of it. Why did you do it? To oppress people?

(Very Likely | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

We like it. (Evil!)

We get angry.

"We'll make you suffer!"

Do we stand any chance?

(Very Unlikely | 4[d10]) No.

We're still angry but know better than that.

"Okay, we don*'t like what you did but we won't do anything against you (yet). We will leave now!"

Does she let us leave?

(Very Unlikely | 1[d10]) No, and...

She throws us into prison.

So, here we are now. Let's try to escape!

13 = 3[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+1[d4]

Looks good. We wait til it's safe and then break out.

Where are we now?

Probability colony ship.

Probability colony ship.

We somehow made it on board a colony ship with probability drive. We should have fund hooking that one up to our flux capacitor - wait - do we still have it?

(Very Unlikely | 1[d10]) No, and...

Neither do we have the blueprints anymore.

Is this a cry-ship?

(50/50 | 2[d10]) No.

*cryo. So everybody's awake. Do we have to hide?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

K, let's do that then. I'll hack into the surveillance system:
Am I good at that?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

d6?

11 = 1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+4[d4]

d6?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and... +Event: Work hard / Information

12 = 4[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+1[d6]

We also get some extra information:

Abandon / Jealously.

They left the planet because they were jealous of them there?

(Somewhat Likely | 8[d10]) Yes.

Why are they so great?

Block / Love.

They can control their emotions - bit like the Vulcans.

(Likely | 2[d10]) No.

They actually _can_ love?

(Very Likely | 8[d10]) Yes.

Aaw. :3

Do we still need to hide?

(50/50 | 4[d10]) No.

"Fear us not, for we ar like you: We also have the power to love!"

Skilled worker who is as strong as you and whose motivation is to possess the elite, abuse modesty, and collaborate expertise; who speaks of friendly celebrations and is focused on your equipment.

Probably a mole - we try to find out if he really can love:

10 = 4[d4]+1[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+1[d6]

K, wasn't that hard. Do they do something against him now?

(Very Likely | 10[d10]) Yes, and... +Event: Judge / Extravagance

The judge. In what way is he extravagabnt?

Malice / Tension.

Oh, he's getting extravagant with his torturing devices again. o0

"No, don't! It's a bad, bad thing!"

'Are we there yet?'

(50/50 | 6[d10]) Yes, but...

Something happened:

Deceive / Portals.

They sabotaged us. Something with a jump portal and we arrived at the wrong destination!

Galactic ancient ruins.

Nice. The planetary Historian in me comes out:

How good am I in that? Like very good?

(50/50 | 4[d10]) No.

But rather good?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

It looks kinda familiar - a bonus!

2 = 2[d5]

21 = 2[d4]+4[d4]+3[d4]+4[d4]+6[d6]+2

What do I find out?

Persecute / Bureaucracy.

This is the site of an ancient civilization that lived in peace and harmony because it got rid of it's bureaucrats.
(A lesson to be learned here Wink hehe)

Very high quality blaster rifle.

I also found meself a rifle. hehehe

Soo, what now? Will they stay here? Looks like a good place to stay I guess?

(50/50 | 1[d10]) No, and...

We're under atack!

Disentigrator droid.

*attack

Sent by the evil Cryssies?

(50/50 | 3[d10]) No.

An ancient relic?

(Very Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

I try and hack it: (Bonus for my History skills)

15 = 2[d4]+3[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+5[d6]

5 = 5[d5]

K, now we got a droid. Nice. ^_^

So, will they try to find their way to their actual destination?

(Very Likely | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

As soon as possible.
'Are we there yet?'

(Somewhat Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

Temporal flux biolab.

Nice.

We wish them all the best and leave. By hooking up the probability drive to the temporal flux thingy (I think 'biolab' means that it's some kind of biosphere they used to use to study biology or something).

18 = 2[d4]+4[d4]+4[d4]+6[d10]+2[d4]

19 = 3[d4]+1[d4]+4[d4]+7[d10]+4[d4]

"Bye bye! And good luck!"

Royal factory.

K. <_< What do they produce here?

Below average plasma grenade.

Separate / Environment.

We take some of these with us. What's outside? Probably guarded?

(Somewhat Likely | 1[d10]) No, and...

It's deserted?

(Somewhat Likely | 8[d10]) Yes.

K. What's outside? Anything at all?

(50/50 | 6[d10]) Yes, but...

All ruins?

(Somewhat Likely | 2[d10]) No.

Holo-projector.

Only holos. Maybe to make it look like something totally different?

(Somewhat Likely | 2[d10]) No. +Event: Procrastinate / Goals

Okay, it's something like a 'holo deck' But the grenades are real?

(50/50 | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

Yeah, I get it ...

So, do we notice it's all holos and stuff?

14 = 2[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]+3[d4]

8 = 1[d4]+2[d4]+2[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]

I do, the kid doesn't. Big Grin

So, is there anything we could use to leave this place?

(50/50 | 7[d10]) Yes.

Work hard / A burden.

Is it a ship?

(Likely | 10[d10]) Yes, and...

It's a rather nice one. Still a lot of work - to repair it?

(Very Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

13 = 1[d4]+1[d4]+2[d4]+5[d10]+4[d4]

15 = 4[d4]+2[d4]+1[d4]+7[d10]+1[d4]

'... And don't forget the robot!'

So yes - after some very hard work, we repair the ship and leave this creepy -holo-place with a grenade factory.
